Check the horn relay (or is it the cruise control relay?). I had an E150 that the horn relay got full of water some how and blew the coil in it. Took out the horn and the cruise -- evidently your horn must work for your cruise to.... Don't know if it is same in the ST or not, but maybe.

Try the USAA buying service. No haggle deals..... you should just be able to ask the dealer what the USAA price is also, but they make make you go online for the certificate. I did this on last 2 vehicles and was happy as it takes the haggle out of the deal. I either like the price or dont.

Check your heat!!! lots of heater core issues on this year. There was a TSB on it. If coolant jug is stained brown, you may end up having to backflush the heater core about every 3-6 months to keep heat. Had one, and my neighbor did, both had the same exact issue and were well maintained.
