I have a roar and vibration when I coast (slow down) after about 50mph. I thought it was tires but they check out. The CV joints look ok. If feels more like its coming from the center of the truck but its hard to tell. Any thoughts? Truck is a '01 4X4 200K miles

How much difference in tire wear can you have on 4X4 without having issues? I'm getting a vibration on deceleration from about 55mph. It started about the same time I put new tires on the rear only. The fronts are worn but have 1/4 or more of tread left. Tires are same size, type, and brand.

I think I'm going to just make changing ball joints part of my annual spring cleaning. Changing the left side out this year. Looking at how hard it would be to replace the arm and go back to OEM. They lasted 10 years.
