Tire Difference

How much difference in tire wear can you have on 4X4 without having issues? I'm getting a vibration on deceleration from about 55mph. It started about the same time I put new tires on the rear only. The fronts are worn but have 1/4 or more of tread left. Tires are same size, type, and brand.

If you have an AWD like my Adrenalin you cannot replace just 2 tires. With an AWD system the tires have to be really close in wear or it can throw off the system. Ford and others recommend a pretty low tolerance for tire wear as the system needs the tires to be all the same wear level. If just 4x4 I think you still need to be close. 4x2 not sure it makes a difference.
