I have pulled a 20 foot enclosed trailer with the same ST as yours. I does OK if you push the OD button. A little hard on fuel mileage.

It is used on the Explorer only if I remember it is for the rear window. I have had mine out and there is a a plug on the end of a wiring harness. Just a switch cover, nothing to do with the ST.

My 07 was about the same thing. They repainted it before the 36 months was out. It all depends on the dealer. If there is a problem ask to see a factory rep.

The rear window was an option on the 07 and it was not available until about June of 07.

Had the same problem and hit the motor a few times with a hammer. It then worked so you can determing if it is the motor.

My fleet saleman checked of his computer and August 28 was cut off date for fleet sales. However he said retail sales were usually a week or two later than fleet. Go try first thing Monday. Mine was ordered two weeks ago. No Red or Blue could be ordered. Good Luck!!!!
