Does anyone happen to know if there is a ST or Explorer in a wrecking yard or someone

who is selling or trading in one with a neutral tow kit. Here are the require ments. Explorer 2006-10 ST 2007-10 4X4 (not AWD) Automatic Transmission V6 or V8.

The Neutral Tow Kit was a dealer item that is no longer available. It consist of a small

light under the dash and a micro switch that clips to the gear shift selector inside the

console. There are several ways to identify if the vehicle has one, look under dash between

steering column and console for a amber led in a small bracket with letters

NEUTRAL TOW, or pull the drivers sun visor and see if there is a decal with instructions

on how to engage for neutral two, or look for decal on radiator support under hood.

This kit allows the vehicle to be towed behind a motorhome or some othe vechile.

I would appreciate any help in locating these parts. Thanks

Not sure if you've tried these two places. They both show they haven't updated since 2009, but it's worth a try.

V-6 kit, 1L2Z7H332AB--Tallapoosa Ford in Alexander City, AL. 256-234-3432. Last MSRP $25.00

V-8 kit, 6L2Z7H332A--Woody Bilton Ford in Moncks Corner, SC. 843-761-8284. Last MSRP $65.00

Hope this helps!

each. There is also one on EBAY for 500.00.
