I have a 2008 V8 and it calls for 5w20. I put in 5w30 on one change by accident and I swear the gas mileage went down a 1/2 mpg or a little more. Only 5w20 from now on.

Might not be a software issue with yours. Mecatronic could be bad. I had the latest TSB done at 25K miles on my 2008, I am almost at 45K miles now and the trans has been very nice.

BFG Longtrail is an excellent tire. Used them in several different applications, never disapointed. Good stuff.

Boss wheels are a very good much lower cost alternative. I have Boss 335s, 20 x 8.5 with Toyo Proxes STII on my 2008 Limited. They balance up good, drive good and handle good. Ride is a bit more harsh with the low profile tires, but not much. Very acceptable.
