I took my 07 in about 3 weeks ago. They said a new flash relase was to be out mid November. I checked and now it's avaliable. I'm headed back in next week to get the new flash. We'll see. :unsure:

The dealer is keeping the ticket open. I guess they don't want to put down "got no idea". Yes, it is still doing it. It may do it less as things wear in a bit. Only have 700 miles now so I expect things to still be smoothing out. I really don't expect my dealership to do anything more...

Dealer called today. They were unable to make it kick. Said it will either get better or worse. Better is no problem, worse they'll fix it. I go pick it up tomarrow. At least I have it documented as a problem. If they are unable to fix after three attempts, it's lemon time. :angry...

Took it in today. They gave me a free rental car after hearing I had not filled out my sales servey yet. I drove it with the tech so he knows what I'm talking about. It did it 1 out of 8 times but was noticable. Hopefully thay can fix it. I'm tired of looking back for a car on my bumper...

Picked it up on Sept 15th. The build date was a couple weeks earlier. It was ordered.

After driving over 30mph or so and warmed up, my new ST 07 with less than 600 miles give a kick as I role to a stop. I have the V8 auto. It feels like someone bumped my bumper when it occurs. Not every time and no noise, just a neck jerk. Any ideas? I'm off to the dealer in the morning...

My new ST reports 60 mph when my other car reports 55 mph. The ST is off. Has anyone else noticed this on thier new 07 ST? Is this a software load update on these new models? Thanks

When I got ready to order mine, the first dealer said he could meet my price but did not have any Sport Trac allocation left so he could not order it. I went down the road and the order was placed the next Thursday and the VIN was provided. Still waiting. :unsure:

The dealer placed the order last Thursday and faxed me the order sheet today. Hand written on it is a VIN number. I thought this took a while to get assigned. It also looks like a priority 10 is listed on the form. Not sure what the scale is. I thought I was priority 1 or maybe that was...

I'm hoping all the shut downs will be in the 4th quarter and that my ST will arrive before everyone takes a break. :unsure:

Placed an order for my new ST today. White Limited, Camel Leather, V8, everything but the moon roof, navigation, and heated windshield. I think I got a pretty good deal at $350 under invoice and $3K for my 96' Explorer. Now the waiting starts. :(
