I wonder if this really works

I have this one, the Res-Q-Me, it may be what the instructor has concealed in his hand. When you detach it from the keychain, you expose the seat belt cutter. It will not work on new laminated auto glass.

    Bikers- Check in now!

"besides, how many non-American bikes have made the "IronButt" run?? Hmmmmmmm.......NONE!!. Bob" Really, Bob? This info comes from the Iron Butt Rally website. Do they even let Harley's run the Iron Butt? You wouldn't know it by looking at the results: Most miles ever ridden during the...

    For the aviators out there

Beautiful. And Graham, I'm 43 and had the same reaction. I'm sending it to my dad who is 77 and an old US Army fixed-wing and rotor pilot from the 50's and 60's, I'm quite sure it'll be the same for him. If you're lucky, the thrill never goes away.

    First Wreck

Here too, officially they are "traffic crashes". Last month my '04 got hit for the third time. Once while parked, once each while sitting still at a stop light and stop sign. Two of the drivers were uninsured or underinsured, forcing me to file a claim on my policy. That sucks. I'm...

Thanks for the advice/info., I didn't know if there are any hidden lines, etc. that aren't visible from the underside.

    Drilling floor?

Can anyone think of any major organs I might hit if I drill into the floor under the back seat? I need to put some short mounting bolts there. Thanks.

    Your Stance

I use kind of a modified Isoceles. I find it easier and more natural to drop into during reaction drills than a Weaver. What does that have to with the height of my ST?

    Dealer/Parts rant

Thanks Edddie, I'll drop them a line. TJR- The whole ordeal turned into a big headache. I went back and forth with them, and they exhausted my will power. My truck had about 22,000 miles on it. Everything was in great shape. When I got it back the bed/box was used also, had a gouge in it! I...

    Dealer/Parts rant

A couple years ago when my ST got hit hard while parked, the Dealer's body shop replaced my extender with a used one. It gets very little use, but one of the locking pins cracked and finally broke in half, coulda been cracked when they put it in. Stupid me didn't ask to keep the old...

a sad chapter in my sporttrac history

You know, your insurance company is gonna think that you wrecked it, took all the stuff out they won't cover, and then reported it stolen. Calm down, that wasn't an accusation, just goofing. Mine has been wrecked twice by other drivers, so I can sympathize. The first time, the other driver...

    factory bed extender

One of my locking pins broke too, so thanks from me also. And Keith, I found this site that shows a diagram of the extender and its components:
