Just a little info for you, most people could give a crap less about Clinton and his BJ.

This lie is more important.

First off, what lie? Second off, if assume a lie has been told, which I contend has not occured, no lie is more or less important. I would argue that getting impeached is pretty damn significant, especially when you are one of two out of 43. No body over seas fighting right now didn't NOT expect to ever be involved in combat. They all volenteered. Very few of the actual soldiers who have gone over say that Bush Lied. Very few of the soldier who have gone over think or thought that this is not a noble cause. What part of "Or Else" can we glen from the UN? 15 resolutions? 16? I bet you love the work that the UN does, even though without the US enforcing the resolutions, there would be no bite to their bark.

Hey Shrek,

It's Shek. You want to resort to names, be freaking guest. I'm about to block your messages because you are by far the most disrespectfull Troll I have ever seen. Caymen and I have had plenty of disagreements, but at least he's civil about it. You are just a little "man" behind your big bad computer. I'm through with you and your piss-ant tactics. Grow up and maybe when you get some hair in new places you can be civil.

Mr. Bush said he was optimistic because the economy’s “foundation is solid” as measured by employment, wages, productivity, exports and the federal deficit. He was wrong on every count. On some, he has been wrong for quite a while.

Employment.... high.

Wages... still high and hourly wages grew steadily from January 2004 until January 2007, the last month figures are available.

Productivity.... growing

Exports... as steady as they have been for the past 20 years

Federal Deficit... growing, thanks to a Democratic congress who would not approve a (1) year moratorium on pork projects. Presidents don't develop spending bills.

So, Mr. Bush was right on just about everything.... if I can take your word on that is his exact statement.

Mr. Bush boasted about 52 consecutive months of job growth during his presidency. What matters is the magnitude of growth, not ticks on a calendar. The economic expansion under Mr. Bush — which it is safe to assume is now over — produced job growth of 4.2 percent. That is the worst performance over a business cycle since the government started keeping track in 1945.

Yep, 52 months. Not too shabby considering that we had a terrorist attack on our own soil that killed 5,000 people, a tech bubble burst, a housing market that's begun to decline slightly, a banking industry that has been deeply affected by poor decision making, and a war that will continue to go on long after Mr. Bush leaves office. Not a single one of these factors have been experienced by any other president singlely or together. Given that, I'd say that things are looking rather good. GDP has been growing steadily around 3.0%, which is able the average since WWII. No, nothing to brag about at all.

Too bad Mr. Clinton's legacy is that of impeachment, scandal and a wife who has done verything she can to destroy what little good her husband did in office.

This is the legacy of President Bush. This is the legacy of the enabling and entirely complicit Republican-controlled Congress. This is the legacy John McCain is promising to continue.

And quite an amazing legacy it is. Presiding over an expanding economy (at least up until March 1, 2008....). Dealing heroically with the second of the greatest tragedies to EVER hit the United States. See not one but two of his supreme court justices onto the bench, giving American's more of their hard earned money back, overthrowing not one but two dictatorships that raped, mamed, murdered, butchered and destroyed their own people. One of which used weeapons of mass d

Believe it Dingo, I AM trying to change things. Im trying to show some staunch Republicans how out of touch they are. I didnt vote for GWB either time, and I will continue to speak my mind. I half way expect plenty of negative and condescending remarks...after all, this IS the country that made the Jerry Springer show a hit. I will add though, that an OVERWHELMING MAJORITY of Americans (and probably anyone else in the world that can read and write) think that ole Bus h and the wing nuts have done a terrible job for the American people.

The problem that no one seems to address is: that Bus h has been able to get everything HE wants. Thats right...almost to a fault he has gotten everything HE and his BASE wanted. From domestic spying, to the war, to a free ticket to defense spending. (the war contractors were wetting thier pants) He got everything! The result though, is not very good for our economy, our job market or for that matter the standing of the nation.

The conservative agenda is what hurts the working man. DONT kid yourselves. 99 percent of you WORK for a living. and VERY FEW make enough to enjoy the tax bracket that the republicans have in place now. You may ask yourself?? Why would anyone vote for a Rep then?? Everyone votes with thier pocketbook right?? Well, not so- for the right-wing. They vote how they are told to. Maybe by thier church deacon..maybe by thier boss. They are the same mindset that made the forementioned Springer show a hit. The sheep.

Well, I DO see a lot of positive things in our future. I really do. I was accused once on here of being a manic depressive. Well Im not. I WILL get my message across though. I will make a difference. I WILL tell the wing nut jobs that they are hurting progress by resisting change.. Maybe some of of the others on this thread will have the stones to pull the best lever for America when they are behind the curtain in the voting booth. DONT BE SCARED no one will see you. You can still SAY you voted Republican, then go shoot a 12 gauge shotgun and drink a budweiser if you want. But change is what we need and change is what we are gonna get. Better get used to the idea. This aint 1950's Mayberry.

heh... Frank... I was just trying to end this BS.

I really don't care how you vote. You shouldn't care how I do. Politics is like religion. Regardless of what they believe, nothing you, or anyone else says will change beliefs. In addition, this thread is like a cross between Jehova's Witnesses and Southern Baptists. I have no problem with either group, but both tend to have a problem with me if I don't agree with them.

Vote how you'd like, and exercise your rights. Your countrymen (including myself) have fought hard for you to have those rights. You have certain freedoms, only because of the sacrifices of others. Feel free to exercise your freedoms of speech, religion, and assembly. I encourage you to do so. But do you really think anything you, or anyone else, says in this thread will change anything? All we're all doing is alienating ourselves to each other.

I just keep thinking that all the creative energy expended in this thread could be used elsewhere for a more positive effect.

Try learning to spell.

There was an interesting article in the paper. I will start a new thread about it.

Yeah, he got everything alright. That's why there are more than 200 open judgeships because the Democrats won't fill the positions with the nominees that Mr. Bush put forth. That's why the Terror survailence law has wained and the house went on vacation, not once but TWICE. The tax cuts have not been made permanent.

The "domestic survalience" you refer to is not about listening into grandma's call about pumpkin wheat bran muffins and how they clear her out. They are listening to calls that either origionate and terminate in countries outside of the US that are routed through the US (completely legal before and after passage of this bill). The main crux of the bill deals with call that either origionate or terminate outside of the US involving patrons within the US. There is not any problem with this since the US Government is held responcible for the safety and security of this country.

If I have any relative injured or killed by a terrorist and that terrorist could have been found out about by listening to phone calls between him/her and someone outside of the US, I won't be sueing AT&T or Sprint, or Mrs. Pelosi and the US House of Representatives, but rather I will be out on TV, if I can, laying blame squarely on the shoulders of Mrs. Pelosi, the entire House of Representatives and any Representative who openly stood in the way of safety. I hold those 235 people directly responcible for blocking the safety and security of this country.

Yep, Mr. Bush got EVERYTHING he wanted. I'll also remind you he wanted the "comprehensive immigration reform" bill passed a few months ago.... FAILURE. Thank God.

What tax bracket is that? The nearly 50% of Americans who don't pay ANY INCOME TAX, or the 10% of Americans that pay 90% of the total Federal Income Tax? I am in the 40% minority that is neither too rich to be privelidged to pay 36.9% of my income but I'm also too rich to qualify for 0% income tax. I am "honored" to give the .gov nearly 25% of my hard work, just so that they can turn around and give it to the unmarried lady in town with 9 kids by 8 different baby daddies. Great. What a priviledge.

Here is some more info about how we are doing so much better today that ever before.

Wages are less than they used to be. Need proof?

Tom

But all the poor people have food and Air Jordans, cell phones and I-PODs...

Do you know that for a fact? it is easy for us to say thet sitting here in our warm houses.

I know plenty of people that are poor and have all the nicest stuff. I know other people that work thier asses off and can not get ahead.

Here is a story that will make you want to cry. These are the people that I feel sorry for you.

Ummmm...Caymen, I don't understand something about this article. It says that 2 college graduates EACH bring home 30,000.

That is so pathetic that I really can't believe it--a mcdonald's manager can make 32,000. Working full time at UPS would give you 30 grand a year, in excess. Work there a few years, and when you start getting 20 bucks an hour and work full instead of part, or move up the chain from grunt labor and still work part, and you'll be blowing 30K out of the water.

oh, and you don't have to go to college for any of that...but should you want to, and can wade through the bureaucratic bs, most places will even pay some sum for education.

30K a year...what are they? Teachers? (I agree, on a tangent, that teachers are woefully underpayed, but most of them really have no certification, and take the liberty of impressing their own beliefs on impressionable youth. Certification in science and mathematics is abysmal, and IMO english lacks proper certification as well. Writing essays on "why bush is a bad president" is not what our youth should be doing. That isn't learning, it's brainwashing)

Frank, I congratulate you--you rant about bush, limbaugh, hannity, and coulter. The people that the Left tell you to jihad against. There are more influential right wingers who you didn't name--could it be that you don't know them? Who is the sheep now? Oh, and Ann Coulter is not part of the great "right wing conspiracy", she has sunken to RINO--that is "republican in name only" levels. Even lesser-known leftist media comments on that. The Boondocks humorously portrayed her as she probably really is. She isn't part of the right, labeling her as a right wing frontrunner is a demonstration of ignorance.

Where was I? Ah yes, I was congratulating you--you ranted in your hypocritical leftist-sheep ways against the right and their sheep, but you NEVER called Obama "black jesus" or the "second coming of christ", which is what far too many left wingers have been doing. A representative of Baltimore, a city disturbingly near me, called obama the second coming.

As you have not stooped to this level of sucking up and idiocy, you still have some credibility. That is an accomplishment for a leftist sheep, or should I say cow, as cows are more closely tied in to socialism.

For that, I again, congratulate you.

Shooting a 12GA and drinking a Budweiser is always a bad idea. I Never drink and use firearms at the same time. I don't drink Budweiser, I don't own a 12GA. I do own 12 other firearms and drink Non-Alcoholic brews. I enjoy ALL of my rights as enumerated by the Bill of Rights, including the 1st, 2nd, 4th, 5th, 6th, and 7th.

I rest my case.

Glad that you do, but that quote demonstrates nothing, save for the fact that you don't know how to use the quote tags properly.

That's what every american should do--exercise his rights. Even your supporter caymen (why?) spoke of touting a firearm...it's not redneck, it's what our forefathers ordained.

If all of the right wingers have guns, then you're foolish to call them sheep. The metaphoric use of sheep means to lead them to the slaughter, but even if they are led there by false right wingers (mccain), as soon as the first one sees the blade ready to come down on him, they're all gonna blow the guys who are trying to off them away.

Thanks, Kev.

It'll be a sad day when this once great country again comes to blows with a civil war. It's not far off at the rate we're going. The tirades that come from both sides are divisive and far from being the best way to fight to outside pressures of Terrorism and questionable economic conditions.

If and when the time comes that a civil war is eminant, there will be a stark dividing line. Those with guns, and those who want to talk. That is not to say that either one is right or wrong. Talk first, no question. However, when it's time for the American People to take their country back (as John Adams, Ben Franklin, John Blackthorne, Thomas Jefferson, et. al. all said was required), I will be on the side of the fighters.

It's woefully sad that we have a place like Washington DC saying that since they are not a state, they can pick and choose which parts of the Constitution they can accept. It's a sad day when places like San Fransisco, Chicago and New York City can outright ban ownership of personal property or of certain items. It's a sad day when as an American I am no longer responcible for the health and welbeing of me and my family but am REQUIRED to let the government take care of us.

They did so well afterall with my Retirement.

The left bitches and moans that the .gov did nothing to help the "victims" of Katrina, they were late to help those that stayed, etc. but yet they want the .gov to control our healthcare? WTF???! Did the government all of a sudden learn about efficiency overnight? Do you really think anything is going to change? Do you really think healthcare will be "free"? Do you really think that doctors and nurses and dentists are still going to be the best in the world and still care?

No.

So, yes I own guns. Lots of them. Enough ammo for all of them to take care of business for awhile. How many and of what type? I dare someone to enter my house uninvited and find out. I dare the UN to put foreign soldiers on MY soil. I dare the .gov to try and come take them from me and the 80 million others of us out there. Between us, we own enough firearms to equip every man, woman and child in this country and nearly everyone could have a second. 300 million people in this country, nearly 600 million firearms. 80 million gun owners.

What a tool. People like you who are out of touch with reality, hurt everyone. With what the Fake Conservatives did to our country, our economy, our international standing, you hurt us all by being an enabling sheep.

I weep for my kids future.

Dude, get a life. Quit bitching. You dig an older thread out just to piss and moan.

You want to talk about economic conditions? Let's look at what Liberals did to Michigan. Let's look at what liberals are doing to New York and California.

Now, let's look at what conservatives are doing in Texas, North Carolina, Alabama and Oklahoma.

Odd how Michigan and California are on the verge of govenment financial collapse while Texas and North Carolina aren't having financial woes (Texas is still suffing effects from Illegal Immigration).

Freedom man, freedom. Freedom to choose how and where I spend my money. Freedom to choose if I want to own guns. Freedom to choose what and where I do where and how I want.

Under the Liberal philosophy, I HAVE to spend 10% of my money on healthcare. I HAVE to give 36% of my money to the .gov for the privelidge of them spending it on things I don't think we need to spend it on. I HAVE to give up my property (guns). I CANNOT drive what I want to drive. I HAVE to send my kids to public schools. I CANNOT go to CHURCH. I CANNOT place the 10 Commandments on my lawn. I HAVE to be politically correct. I HAVE to watch pMSNBC, ABC and CNN. I HAVE to mix (the confirmed liar) Al Frankin with Sean Hannity on the radio.

You know what, thanks. I lived in The People's Republic of Kommiefornia. I lived in tyranny and communism under the Comrade Gray Davis. I like my freedom to choose.

Northern Born, Southern by the Grace of GOD.

You don't like guns. Great. Glad to hear it. The glory of this country is that we have the freedom to have guns or not. We have the freedom to make our own choices. I'd be glad to buy you a one-way ticket to any country of your choice if you don't like it.

I weep for my kids future.

I rejoice for my kids future. They are Americans. They can do anything they can set their minds on. They can overcome the "bad" and become great. They have opportunities in this country offered by no other country in the world. I weep for your kids futures as well becuase you are teaching them "you are living in a country wraught with failure and pestilence. you have no hope". That's the difference between you and me. I use the "bad" to teach my kids how to overcome. I use the failures of the government to teach my kids how to be self-sufficient. I use examples of liberal and conservative failures to show my kids how not to be. I show them example of conservaive and liberal sucesses (mostly conservative since liberal successes are few and far between) of how a movement can start and change the country for the better. I teach them about firearms, how to use them, how to be safe. How to use them to survive. I teach them about economics. Money does not grow on trees. The government cannot just go on printing money willy-nilly without consequence. My kids will be providers, not takers.

I truely weep for your kids if your attitude is as you actually state.

This is my country, I am proud of what she is, was and will be as long as personal liberty and freedom are the hallmarks of it's citizens. Life, Liberty and the Persuit of Happiness. Live it, Love it, our get out.
