I just replaced the exhaust pipe gasket that connects the catalytic converter with the pipe leading to the muffler. Does that gasket expand when it gets hot in order to seal it up tight? I did just read about exhaust putty, should I have used that? The bolts were rusted so I had to cut...

I took my ST to Farm and Fleet to have an alignment done because I was having uneven tire wear on the fronts. Turns out the ball joints are bad. They quoted me a little over $1000 to replace them. :cry: This seems really high to me. Anyone else have experience with this repair?

I am looking into buying two 72 mustangs (both need restore) for a really good price. Need to know how to decipher the vin number before I go look at the cars. The add says both have 302 motors in them. I need to know if the cars are Boss 302's. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
