Definitely not "normal". I've left mine sitting two weeks, climbed in and starts right up. I've only had it out once this week, and probably won't drive it again until next week at the earliest. Use Gary D's advice and isolate the bad circuit and go from there.

You'll love the XD... I've had mine for about a year, and don't get to use it as much as I would like... Also take a look at the springfield site, as they do custom work on them now. Adding night sites, match barrel, etc... It can get expensive, but they are all nice to have features.

I had the same symptoms you are describing... $700 later and I have a new clutch and slave cylinder... Remember that your slave cylinder on our trucks is part of the throw out bearing, so the only way to change it is to drop the tranny and while your at it might as well have the flywheel turned...
