Todd,

I have just registered and paid! I wont be able to make the event though, so view the payment as a donation ;)

All the best!

Shaun,

THANK YOU.... I cant thank you enough for doing what you can to make the LAST national meet a success !!!!!!

Its the members that drive this site and the little extra things they do is a great help to me and George..

NOT to mention your extra thoughts shows the ones that can make the time and afford the national meet know they will have a great time !!!!!

THANK YOU !!

I've always wanted to go, but never have gotten the chance. :( I'm bummed this is the last one, but hopefully not the LAST MEET EVER!

I'm sure there will be many more opportunities for me to meet all you wonderful folks:banana:

So what's up with this 100 minimum thing?

90% sure I'm going since I cancelled the beach trip...stupid oil...

Oh, and I'm baaaaack!

Hey jeff....

I will cross that bridge when we get to the final reg date.......

I got that card from you????????????

Todd Z

As of right now we have 18 trucks and close to 40 people.........

IF we don't make the min we will have to cancel the meet and I will refund the fees...

This sucks that we cant get a turn out to the LAST national meet for the ST and this site !!!

The day I have to cancel the meet will be a sad day in my eyes.....

Todd Z

I'm In.

Been a while since I was at a Meet, I figured i would make the last one.

Do you have a list posted as to who is coming?

Hey Phil, !!!

Thanks man....

I am not making a "Public" list for privacy reasons....

IF people want to make a roll call post then they can But i cant post any thing like that.....

We have 19 trucks and 34 adults

We need around 18-20 more adult registrations and the meet is a go !!!

SO LETS SIGN UP AND MAKE THE LAST ONE A GREAT ONE !!!

Todd Z

I looked at changing things around to make the meet but I have family coming down from California and Connecticut during that time frame.

Now, the ones from Calif are actually my wife's family and Connecticut are my sister-in-law and niece. I could always tell the to .... better not go there.

I truly hope you get the numbers you need - ESPECIALLY being the LAST ONE - EVER!!!

Good luck!

Jimmy,

Don't worry about it man... your donation was more then generous and lowered the MIN number needed to try and hold the meet.....

I hope we get the number needed , IF not.... I am going myself to the Plant and to the Farm.... I still plan on taking my vacation on there weather there is a meet or not.

And then i have to go through the process on refunding everyones money....

Todd Z

Todd, if the meet is cancelled, you can keep my money. Put it to use somewhere.

PS: It sounded like jimmy (and others) made a donation? Will it allow us to still have the meet if you get some additional funding? E-mail me and let me know what I can do to help keep this event alive!!!! BC :grin:

Well, it now looks like I'm not going to be able to make it to the meet. Just got offered a new job that I'll start on 28 June. So I won't be able to take 15-16 July off for the meet.

But at least it's for a good reason. Better job, less hours, more pay.:supercool::banana:

If additional funding is needed, I can assist. If we have to dump the Huber farm, so be it. Meeting the members here that care about the health of the website is what really matters.

Tom

Tom,

Thats the part that will be canceled....... THANK goodness the farm is not demanding the deposit, they are holding the day on good faith....

As for the meet, WE still can go to the plant and that stuff..... JUST have to find a smaller place to go, and I can use the reg money to but dinner or just refund it...

We will cross that bridge on June 15th

Todd Z

Well, Theresa and I were talking. We could make a convoy to Makers Mark Distilery and do a tour. I could arange a group tour if needed. I have a good friend that lives in Lexington that knows the area pretty well. We could find something to do down there instead of the Huber Farm.

Tom

Tom,

Thats allways an Idea..... Once we get to the last date for registration, I will contact everyone and see WHO is not going to go and take it from there....

I myself still want to to go to the plant and have lunch with ford... EVEN if it is with 18 people !!!

We can plan something for Friday after June 15th...

Thanks

I couldn't agree more.

Other idea's. In Bardstown, KY there is another distilery called Heaven Hill. There is also "My old Kentucky Home" down there that is a play. For those really into a road trip, we can drive to Bowling Green to visit the Corvette Museum.

Let me know if you need me to make some calls.

Tom,

I am sure I will as I don't think we will get the needed MIN 20 more people for the farm...

Todd Z

Here is an idea. Only $10.00/person.

Kentucky is known for their large caves. We could do this to. Right in Louisville, KY.
