Had the same issue on ours while still under warranty. Hit "on" and then when you hit "set" the green dash indicator would just blink instead of staying on and no speed control/hold.
Warranty repair was to replace both steering wheel switch assemblies. Just an FYI if your brake master...
Brad, they are just the running board INSERTS, the octagon pattern plastic step pads, NOT the whole step bar/running board.
Phil, let me see what Todd replies with on the package and we'll go from there.

Todd, the intake was made by a company called Street Smart Designs (SSD4U I believe was the website). Pretty nice piece with molded silicone couplers, stainless tube, carbon fiber hydrodipped air filter shield, etc. I got it and the Pro-M 75mm Bullet meter (in chrome) for the Sport Trac and had...
Our '02 Sport Trac has been gone for two months now and I have a few items lying around with no home. All are shippable except for the exhaust (unless I cut it) but would prefer somewhat local pickup for the exhaust.
+Right Rear Taillight- Stock assembly, no scratches
+Factory running...
Don't believe C&L is in business anymore...
I have a Pro-M chrome "bullet" maf (75mm) and complete cold air kit with stainless tubing and carbon fiber hydrodipped filter shield brand new in the box if interested...

The Villages is about two hours north of us. We're right off of I-4 between Orlando and Tampa...
Definitely in the Ford family. That's all I've owned and will own. Have two Mustangs, a Cobra replica (Ford powered) and of course now the Fusion Ti that replaced our beloved ST.
Don't have...
With 241K miles on her and timing chain noise starting to rear its ugly head (and the A/C broken for about a year now) we finally signed up for car payments again, purchasing a private lease/one owner 2014 Fusion Titanium that we applied the Sport Trac to as trade equity.
We had the truck...
Thanks for getting back to me Austin, but the truck is being traded. Really didn't have the time to try and fix the A/C and not a lot of interest in it sadly. So it's going to the dealer as a trade.

Could also be the turn signal harness in the column. Common issue in Gen 1 models. Try tilting your column all the way up and see if they work then. If so, pull the column trim and reposition the harness so it won't pull out of the turn signal switch when tilting the wheel down to your driving...
Was the A/C working previously? I'm in need of an A/C compressor for the wife's '02. We're considering selling it and it would certainly help if the A/C blew cold!
Thanks!

Been a while since I logged in, but have been a member here since 2002 when we bought our Sport Trac brand new. It's been a great truck with no major issues, but after 13 years (the longest my wife has EVER held onto a vehicle for, which shows how much she loved it!) she's wanting a smaller car...
How's it going Coastie! Long time for me as well. I'm down to logging in every six months or so when the interest arises. The old girl is 12 years old now and with 228K on it. Dawn still drives it daily, but we're looking to downsize at the end of the year. No more need for an SUV/pickup bed...
Gen 1-2002
228,000 miles
Engine has never been opened but could use valve cover gaskets, front cover crank seal gasket, and maybe oil pan gasket. Wife drives it every day still...

Familiar with the site, but haven't done any mods yet. I'll eventually do a custom splash screen, etc. It already had the hardware bypass mod from the previous owner and being the Premier model it came with the optional iPod cable (routed to the glovebox)...
The only bummer of the whole...
That must be something that was added later in production. Our '02 certainly does not state that (just that it is a LEV for CA vehicle for the 2002 model year) and I was pretty certain all Gen 1s were the same.
Personally I feel the Gen 1s are too old to use E-85 safely. We've built a...
