    Heat/Air not cycling to Defrost

I think it is the Air Flow actuator

    Heat/Air not cycling to Defrost

Well it looks like an electrical actuator is at fault. The problem is that there are 3+ of them and it is going to be necessary to remove the dash to get to it. Has anyone done a complete dash removal themselves? They said that it's an all day job which will run about $500 for the labor to...

    Heat/Air not cycling to Defrost

How would I get to it? Do you think it's something that I could fix myself with minimal tools/experience? Thanks.....

    Heat/Air not cycling to Defrost

I already made a search for my question but to no avail.... This problem just crept up out of the blue this past weekend, but here goes: I have a 2001 Job 2 Trac with roughly 120,000 miles on it and very few problems thus far. I have done all of the regular maintenance, etc. Anyways, now...

Has anyone replaced the vinyl on your high-series console lid?

By the way, if these guys have such a successful business doing this, then it really means that Ford's console is CRAP for everyone  In fact I'm sure that other people on this site have had this problem. Let me know what you think. Thanks.....

Has anyone replaced the vinyl on your high-series console lid?

My dad needs to replace the console lid for his 1998 Ford Explorer Eddie Bauer. The vinyl has torn where you rest your right elbow when you drive. I am beginning to have the same problem on my 2001 Sport Trac. We looked on eBay for a replacement console lid, and it seems to be about $40-50...

How many miles on your ST?

01 Job 2 Bought 07/05 with 90 K. Now it has 119 K, but I have been driving it a lot more since I moved to Florida (road trips and such). It has always ran great, and over Christmas I had all the fluids flushed, replaced the spark plugs and wires, upgraded the air filter, and did the other...

    Electrical Help PLEASE!

I don't have a wiring diagram, but I do have a DMM. I got to the ignition harness and I can't find an accessory power for my 2001 Job 2 ST. The yellow's are constant, the red/blue is a starter, and the browns are ignition, but I don't know which one (if there is one) that is accessory power...

Cigarette Lighter / AUX Power Fuse Question

I replaced the fuses with (20)'s again just to be on the safe side. Let me preface this question by saying that I am new to electircal wiring and only learned what a relay was after extensive searching on this site. In an effort to add two hide-away 12 V accessories (radar detector and XM...

Cigarette Lighter / AUX Power Fuse Question

OK, so after some serious tailgating with the Trac at the ACC Championship this weekend (BOO), I managed to blow the fuses for both my cigarette lighter and AUX power (on the passenger side of the high console) with my power inverter. It stinks because I had to drive home from the game without...

Nevermind - I just found it on eBay for $40 shipped. I needed the whole jack assembly.

FS: Factory subwoofer and wiring harness

I bought a factory subwoofer and wiring harness from a member on this site about a month ago. When I received it, I found out that it does not work with my radio - the single-disc unit for the 2001 Trac. This unit is in the box ready to be shipped! The price is $120 shipped OBO. Email...

WTB: Jack and factory accessories for tire changing

Well, I found out the hard way that my Trac did not come with the normal tire-changing materials this past weekend, and I had to go through the emasculating process of calling a tow-truck. Does anyone have a set from a wrecked Trac or something lying around that I can take off your hands...

    trouble installing factory subwoofer

Thanks for the response. I have the standard (not 6-disc) CD player on my 2001 Job2 ST. When I removed the kickplate on the front passenger side door, the harness (leading to the back of the radio I presume) was connected to a dummy harness as it said in the manual. I simply unplugged the dummy...

    trouble installing factory subwoofer

I bought the factory subwoofer and wiring harness from another member on mysporttrac.com and printed out the project posted on the website this afternoon so that I could install it. I was all excited to work on my Trac when I realized the subwoofer is dead  When I plug the harness...

What kind of Ipod setup do you have?

I have the USA-Spec Ipod interface which allows me to control it with the factory head unit. I have the interface installed under the front-passenger seat, and I drill a small hole in the side of my High series console to run the wire to the Ipod. Therefore, the Ipod lives in the console.

WTB: Factory subwoofer and harness for 01-06 Trac

I've been wanting to get a little sub boost in my Trac since I installed my Ipod adapter, but I don't want to lose the stock look or give up too much storage space. Because I'm no audiophile, I'm sure that the factory sub would provide just what I'm looking for. I'm in Atlanta, GA and I'm...
