OK I can see on the left hand side the cable as a ball on the end if and this came out of the latch release. To remove the latch catch I need to odd look screw driver. Any know where I can get one...

did you fix it... or just deal with it ?

OK Used a screw drive to push on the silver part on the catch and go it movedand opened.. I see the cable movinb and the bar connected to it moving, but still won't release the catch.

On my 08. I saw one of my Tie ups was caught in the lock release on the left hand side. I got the tie down out, but now the cover will not open. Seens the catch on the left side will not move. I see nothing in it... Any ideas. :cry:

I see you have a GEN 2 2008. The are not rubber grommets to remove the 2 bolts are in clear view..... Very easy... I just had to replace one on my 2008 :banana:

Update ... On GEN2 2008 only 2 bolts need to be removed to replace tail lights....

I have seen the issues with the steering column, I'm the only driver and don't move the column. It's cold out and will try that first ..... 8 outside . Is the fix the same for 2008 Gen 2 as the GEN 1 in the projects. ?

My bllinker and brake light are out in the left rear, before I go and buy one. Is the blinker and brake light run on the same bulb. Do I need 2 bulbs or one..

My uncle has a used BMW and had to replace the battery and how the radio asks for a Code. I did find out how to get the Radio Serial number. But cannot find the Radio code any where.... What a piece of Junk....... BUY AMERICAN...
