I have a co-worker with a 2004 Expedition with a door latch assembly issue. I have looked up all of the requisite diagrams and there is a part I still cannot identify. Does anyone have any insight into the following part's number (the red grommet looking thing): [Broken External Image]:

So is this a fairly easy swap? I know I have at least one that has gone bad, left front, so I was going to replace both while I had it up on the lift just to be safe. From the looks of things, I have been lucky given I am still on the originals @ 150k.

Thanks for the suggestions. I have quickly learned some of the yards posting don't keep their listings up to date. I will keep searching though. Also interesting to see how many variations of the doors there are.

I find myself in need of a driver's door, and possibly a fender, for my 2007 Limited. What is the best website(s) for hunting down vehicle salvaged and recycled parts?

Got my replacement at 1800radiator.com back in December. They are only a couple miles from the office. Paid right around $200.00 wholesale.

Just installed my Powerstop kit this weekend. What a relatively inexpesive and quick upgrade. Took about 90 minutes to install. Haven't used them hard yet, but I can tell they are working well without a whole lot of pressure needed on the pedal.

Guess I will bite on that package as well. Sitting at 130,000 on original rotors and pads.

LOL....when you see a puddle of anit-freeze in the garage each time you pull in-out and/or you start running hot.

Replaced my radiator right before Christmas @ 123,000 miles. Waiting on the original brake pads to finally wear out at this point.

I think there was a recall associated with shifter issues: 09B11 - TRANS GEARSHIFT LEVER. May want to look into that.

Ok, trying to figure if my ST is a Job 1 or Job 2 because I now have a failing radiator at 130,000 miles. My sticker on the door only have 08/06, so is that the date the month/year or the month/day? I thought I had a Job 2 because I have the additonal door handle cups, but mine didn't come...

Happens about once a month on my 2007. ABS light comes on and the ABS kicks in while driving down the road.
