I have a 2003 as well my clutch fan gets kind of noisy after water temp reaches 200 degrees F which it does quite often in traffic with A/C on. And on start ups after the clutch is locked up it will still roar for a min or two then unlock. Its done this for the last 5 years and all is good. Hope...
Is the cable still hooked up to the throttle body? Mine was a bad connection and would fall off all the time had to buy a new cable not hard at all to change. Good luck Also the brake deactivation on the master cyl. can fail and not allow the system to work
I hate to bring you any bad news but if the transmission fluid has coolent mixed in there is only one place it can come from. The trans cooler in the radiator has to be leaking into the transmission.
The tail gate requires no tools to take it off the truck there, there are some spring steel clips of sort on the end of the cables just pry up with your finger and slid them off then the right side of the tail gate lifts off when the gate is about half way up and its off..:banana:
Its a lot easier to put a electonic led flasher in one and done.. I did my 03 and it works like a champ and it does what it is supposed to do cut down on amps to run all your lights
I had a similar failure on the pass door, the pop rivet that holds the actuator to the door sheered off and the Actuator got stuck on the window track would not allow the door to unlock. Once you get the door unlocked check the pop rivet its at the back edge of the door just past the door panel...
