    Thanks everyone

Just wanted to say thanks to everyone on here for your knowledge, and for doing the projects. Between this site and instructional youtube videos, my trac stays functional. Just recently did the hvac blower motor, cruise control buttons, and an exterior driver door handle. 2002 4x4 with 191,500

    Rear blower?

Hey everyone, My a/c blower hasn't been working at any speed, occasionally it will come back on for a bit. Was thinking that is was the blower motor, and then I had a thought. My truck is a 2002 4wd and has the rear a/c controls, and the rear controls have airflow even when the front...

The Definitive Transfer Case Lube Thread

My Trac is a 2002 and nearing 190,000 miles, I don't think this has ever been done. Do you guys think this is safe to do? Or is it similar to transmission fluid, where it may be better to leave it alone.

    Shackle question

I had to google that, but yes that is what I am referring too. I believe 3/4 works, but I just wanted to see if anyone had any experience.

    Shackle question

Just curious if anyone knows what size shackles will fit in the factory tow points on cars? Want to be prepared in case I ever have to pull someone out of a snow bank or something. Thanks.

Just passed my Motorcycle Endorsement Class!!!!!

Congrats, This is a great hobby to get into. Just be very careful out there. I would look at craigslist or the cycle trader magazines. I recommend the scorpion line of helmets. There lower end ones are around 150 or 200. Mine cost about 200 which I think is a great deal. They also...

can a bike fit in the back?

I did it with a '99 Yamaha YZF600r which if I had to guess I would say weighs about 400 lbs and some change. Also had my friends Honda RC51 on a trailer. From the Raleigh, NC area to the NC and Tennesse border. We went to ride the gap. Long trip but it was perfectly fine.

    Deals Gap

You will have a blast. I have been there twice myself. I have a Yamaha YZF600R sportbike. Probably the best road I will ride, short of a track day. I am sure you know of all the dangers. Just watch out for 18 wheelers, and if people are riding your tail then let them pass when it is safe...

    Dead Battery...A little helpW???

I read this in a magazine one time. If your battery is dead and have no way to jump it, then to put asprin into the water inside the battery. Pop the covers and drop in about 2 asprin. Apparently there is some kind of reaction that produces a little bit of a charge. Never tried it out though.

    Trackday was Great!

looks like you had a good time. I was just up at VIR on the 20th for the AMA races. I can't wait to go to my first track day. The tail of the dragon is a great ride. I am going up there september 7-10th. Good to hear your trac had no problems with two bikes. I will be towing two bikes to...
