I need your help

Hello All,



My girlfriend of five years was a pedestrian in a car/pedestrian crash in Calgary this morning. I have been in the hospital all day with her and she has not yet regained consciousness. She has a broken leg, spleen has been removed, she is on a respirator and she has a drain for her brain. Any happy thoughts/prayers would be appreciated. My life has just been turned upside down and inside out. She was in a marked crosswalk and had crossed three lanes of traffic when a car came through the intersection in the fourth lane and took her out. I don't know what to do, there is nothing I can do.

Caymen, thanks, I am trying to think like that to and I only hope that the best continues to be a life with her. They can't even tell us if she will survive or not at this point.

I honestly think that this is the worst part, not being able to do a damn thing. At least she is in a major trauma center and they know what they are doing.

This one hits home, 12 years ago Rachel was hit by a car, unfortunately the women was politically conected and was stoned at the time. of course walked away scott free...

Rachel incurred surgeries and broken bones as well, no unconsciousness though.



I feel your pain and know what your going through.



I just prayed and asked others to do the same, The recovery today is not 100% and we had multiple surgeries and casts in between then and now.



take some time off, Relax, and be with her.......



Rachel and I will both be praying for you both .....
