Sorry if this has been covered but I could not find it in a Projects search! I have an 01St 4x4 and the dash light doesn't always come on when the 4wd is engaged. I tried it on some stones and it seems like the 4wd IS working any thoughts????? Thanks Tom

I have a 01 st and like the look I've seen on here of those that removed the roo racks. My question is .....After you remove the rack are there holes in the roof that need to be plugged somehow, or do you leave the "base rails " still on???? thanks tom

Anybody changed a lower coolant hose on a 01 gen 2 ST? I was going to do mine before a trip on Monday and it looks kind of tight around the water pump. Can this be done with simple tools without removing too much other stuff! Thanks ! Tom

Here's a kicker for you guys! I had an ABS light showing every other time I started my 01 ST.The light would be on and show "no code stored" on a scanner. I found out that this is caused by a burnt out 3rd brake light bulb. A $1.49 and the problem is cured!:banana:

Thanks to all who contribute to the information gathered in the Project files.Today I seafoamed and cleaned out my IAC valve with ease. I would have NEVER know to try this to resolve my idle issue if not for you guys!

I have a 01 ST 4x4 with 110k on it. There seems to be a problem in the rear end. When the Trac is driven enough to get warm there is a "scrub" noise and feel coming from the rear only if you come to a stop and are turning.It only does it one time when you first start to turn,it does not continue...

I need 2 front hub assemblys for a 01 4x4 ST. Does anyone have a inside line to save a few bucks? Also is there any brand I should stay away from?

I was wondering if anyone has removed the heat shield from the muffler on an 01 ST ? I have already re-banded it once and now the low speed kazzoo noise is back. I was thinking about trying to go without it or attaching a square of heat insulation to the rear floor board itself. Any thoughts?????
