    02 ST rear end lube

    Getting some growl from the rear end when I slow down -- so I was going to change the gear oil.... but there's NO drain plug on the housing. Is this a dealer service?? At 158,000 miles I figure its due.... Any ideas??

    02 ST rear differental leaking

    Noticed a small pool (quarter sized) of black lube under the rear u-joint - then noticed it was coming from the front of the unit. Big deal to fix?? I need to change the fluid anyway as I rolled 140,000 miles... thanks Brad

    OBD code / check engine light - '02 S/T

    Check engine light came on last weekend -- couldnt stand it and went to Auto Zone for a check. Showed code errors 135 and 1120. I just rolled 70,000 miles and it runs great -- although mileage has dropped the last couple of weeks...Had the DPTE (?) sensor replaced last year (35,000 miles)...

    I just love all the ads for all the "mileage enhancers"... The best one I saw was for the "Tornado".. and my next issue of Car and Driver debunked it. They tested with all their electronic equipment and .... guess what .... ABSOLUTELY no increase in miles per gallon....

    UPDATE ON BRAKe SQUEAL

    Went thru the same thing with my '02 ST -- had numerous disucssions with the service manager and he finally told me the only way to eliminate it was to go with ceramic pads -- bought and installed a set -- BINGO -- no squeal -- no dust -- and they grab a lot better than the OEM pads..
