Access to interior from engine compartment

I am trying to run some wiring from the engine compartment through the firewall to under the dash in a 2008 Gen 2. I would rather use an available grommet and not drill any holes. I have done a search and found an answer for Gen 1 models but not Gen 2. Can someone guide me to the proper spot...

    SOLD! Gen2 V8 Performance Parts

    Gen II Reliability!

I have a 2008 Limited V8 4X4 approaching 85,000 miles and other than normal maintenance and a new battery several years ago I have had no major problems. I have had to replace a few wheel studs that broke when changing over from my summer wheels to winter ones but I have been very happy with my...

    TPMS question

Yes the dash light and a beep will let you know the TPM's are no longer there. I have a set of wheels & snow tires without the TPM but my summer rims & tires are stacked right next to my Trac in the garage. Each night the monitor in the vehicle resets but about 15 miles down the road my tire...

air compressor or electric impact wrench

For what it's Worth! I bought a 1.5 HP Stanley Bostich compressor 10 years ago with 2 finishing nailers and finished off my basement with it (and have also built some furniture). I use a 1/3 HP 2 gallon compressor out in the garage for filling the tires (Noisy but better than the 5 Gal tank I...

    TPMS question

Brett, I have a winter set of rims for my snow tires and the rims do not have sensors. I have my summer rims & tires stacked right next to my Trac and if parked overnight I can drive about 15 miles before the warning "Beep" and dash indicator comes on. After hitting the reset all that is left...

    New Trac

Very Nice! I have a black 2008 Limited and love it! I also blacked out the roof rails but left the side steps original. I no nothing about the wheels but they look real nice. If you could post pics from underneath to show how the exhaust is routed it would be great. I have that project in mind...

    3rd brake light leak

Mine also leaked! Make sure after you put a bead of silicon along the edge of the light housing that you press down firmly on the light as you screw it back in place - don't rely on the screws drawing it down. Mine has not leaked since I used this process. Good luck! :haveabeer:
