It is a XCalibrator 2, so no on the transmission.

    SCT XCalibrator 2 tuner / BAMA tunes 2007 V8

Trust me, I would keep if I didn't have a ProCal for my mustang, you never know when a engine fault code will pop up, then you can read and clear codes.

    SCT XCalibrator 2 tuner / BAMA tunes 2007 V8

I sold my 2007 V8 trac, so I am selling a SCT tuner with BAMA tunes, 93 torque, 93 performance and 87 performance, all updated with newer fuel economy codes a few years ago. I had this on the truck since new with no issues. A BIG improvement over stock. Unlocked, returned truck back to stock...

    Magnaflow

Save your receipt, mine lasted about 70,000 miles before the rear polished tip welds let loose and fell off. Had to cut off all the clamps, solid rust. They sent me a new exhaust system but I had to pay for shipping and send them the old system to California. I love the sound though!

    V8 Manifold bolts

The rear studs on the passenger side were broke, no room at all. They had to get approval from the Ford warranty people first with pics. Same dealer did the driver side with out pulling engine. Sport tracs do have updated studs and manifolds, but I doubt it will help much. The studs are to...

    V8 Manifold bolts

Do you hear the ticking at cold start up? Mine would only tick at start up, even with two broken studs it would seal up when hot. Dealer did the driver side manifold at 65,000 and just did the passenger side at 75,000 which they had to pull the engine out. Thank God I bought a powertrain ESP...

    More Wheel Bearings

    4.6 manifold / header question

I replaced the factory plugs a few years ago with the solid Champions, no issues yet.
  10. S

    Yup, Right rear hub bearing.

I was going to say it might be your driveshaft center support bearing, mine started to make noise around 55,000. You could only really hear it good with the rear window down and all others up. I thought for sure it was a wheel bearing. The first dealer I took it to said it might be the tires...

    4.6 manifold / header question

Thanks for all the input guys! Well yesterday after work I decided to install new grade 8 bolts and on the first stud I touched, it broke off just by putting the socket on.. about a 1/4" deep in the head I would say. Driver side, top front. Right next to the strut tower. Looks like...

    4.6 manifold / header question

My bolts are all fine. I spent a hour with a damn mirror and a flash light. But if I did find some headers that fit I would replace them with some grade 8 bolts.

    4.6 manifold / header question

Does anyone know if exhaust manifolds from a 2005 explorer 4.6 will fit a 07 sport trac? I see JBA makes a nice set of headers for a 05. My manifolds are leaking on start up and I just hate to put the factory ones back on.

    rear wheel noise

Mine is making noise also, more of a light grinding/slight vibrating noise that varies with speed from the passenger side rear. Hitting brakes has no effect. Almost positive it's the wheel bearing in the knuckle. Put down the rear window and you can really hear it. Has 54,000 on it, 07 4x4 V8...
