Hoping someone has seen this before or a possible solution. I searched the forums and did not see any topics on this. My Air bag light is staying on, the dash light, not the passengar bag off light. No accidents, nothing should be wrong and i hate taking it to dealership, they rip you off...

I just wanted to post that it was a loose wire on the starter that was the problem. Amazing how the dealership just wanted to replace starter and private shop actually looks at problem. Also FYI, found a Bulletin that the wire pigtail for the starter is faulty, awesome.

For those above that had this repair done, did they have to pull the engine to have this work done. dealership is saying they want $600 just to pull the manifold off and then they aren't 100% if they will be able to get the bolts out from there or have to pull the engine. Just looking for...

So Dealership says they want to replace the starter for $420. Think i am gonna take it somewhere else for another opinion.

Thanks for the feedback. I did clean the terminal first before putting it on. I even had the guy at the shop test the new battery and it came back good. It started yesterday but it cranked two or three times before it turned over. It is at the dealership now so we will see what they say.

I have had issues with starting, chalked it up to short trips and once on longer drives it started fine. Just so happen to be at auto parts store today to pick up wiper blades and came out and wouldn't start at all. It was cold out.. Replaced battery right there, MF'er still wouldm't start...

Just wanted to post a follow up, incase anyone runs into this. I did have the left rear wheel bearing replaced and it did fix the problem, don't hear the grinding, humming sound anymore. Hope this isn't a bigger issue, had the double check the other 3 bearings and they said they were ok...
