    Oh no! 63K

That's a pretty good list no heat :-) So far if I remember correctly, just brakes, tires and the A/C compressor. The orig Firestones did ok I guess but the Goodyear Wranglers are bullet proof after a bunch of years. Naturally knocking on wood with fingers and all accessible appendages crossed...

    Oh no! 63K

Update: My Gen 1 Job 1 is still lookin' good and driving like a champ, zero issues but alas have passed the 60K mark after all these years. Belts look solid, running like a top yet I still know I have to do 'something'. Plan is to tackle the transmission fluid check up/replacement and a...

Not sure if I want to swap my Gen 1

Thinking aboout the unthinkable...love the truck, it has zero issues but I'd love to have something me and the wife could take to weekend 'show and shines' or cruise nights...something old and cool in excellent shape. Don't have the bucks to dress up the 2000 ST which is still stock and in...

    New tires

I've had Michelin's on a couple of cars over the years...they wore out FAST. When I got the ST in 2000, it was shoed with Firestone which lasted a few years. I re-tired with Goodyear Wranglers. They are still on and tred is almost like new. Am really happy with them.

How to keep it running GREAT...Low bucks.

Thanks again all. I called the ONE mech shop I've come to trust, I read off all the suggestions from here, and he advised bringing it in for a 60k and all the things mentioned would be from $300 t0 $350 depending if it needed synthetic or not. The new Mgr there is a former Ford Svc Mgr so is...

How to keep it running GREAT...Low bucks.

Made a list of the tips. Thank you! It's a 4x2 and yeah I keep it real clean! :-) Btw; The manual went missing years ago unfortunately. I did just download one though. How dumb is that...I still have the sales brochure but misplaced the manual. geez.

How to keep it running GREAT...Low bucks.

Limited budget (very) but I want to keep my Trac in top running condition...so I have to choose what MUST be done in preventive maint. Currently NO problems. 2000 1st gen job 1 with 54K. Has had brakes replaced a few years ago and last year the A/C replaced. Other than that, regular oil...

    Seat Covers?

They look good. Pricey but appear worth it. Thanks.

    Seat Covers?

Looking for some seat covers (front buckets) but those listed for my specific model seem to all include adjustable head rests and my ST doesn't have those. (the rear seats do though) Any clues where I should look? Thanks
