REMOVING REAR HEADREST

Can anyone tell me how to remove the rear headrests on an 07. My daughter's new car seat is being pushed forward by the headrest. It would be perfect without it.

You have to remove the cover on the seat back and remove a retaining spring. There may be an easier method but this is what Ford says. The covers are really easy to remove so don't let it scare you off. I emailed you the instruction sheet.

I posted it in my library, for now at least. It's basically the same for Gen 1 and Gen 2.

You don't have to remove anything, but you need an extra set of hands. Just stick a tiny nail or paper clip in the holes on post holder. It's a major pain to do it yourself.
