I was not sure what category to put this in so I will do my best to describe what I am hearing.... My trac is a 2001 with 105K miles on it. The noise I have been hearing is a thumping or bumping kind of sound coming from the right rear when I start moving from a complete stop. I also hear this sound coming from the same area when I am in a slow turn and when backing out of or turning into my driveway.

I would appreciate your thoughts on this. I am beginning to get concerned.

something in the drum brakes, Broken or loose sway bar end link or mount....

Could be a bad axle bearing....

Could be a bad tire....

Get it checked out...

I had a body mount go bad in the passenger rear of the cab. There is also a bulletin on the early 2001's. Pull the rubber plugs in the compartments behind the rear seats. Be careful because the sheet metal is very sharp and just the right size to get your hand stuck. Good luck!
