Well this is not a problem with my Trac, but with my 2006 Jeep Grand Cherokee SRT-8. Yesterday I was driving her home and I came to a stop. When the green light hit, I pushed on the gas and to my surprise, nothing happened. I started rolling because I took my foot off the brake & my engine reved up nicely, but there was no motion besides the rolling. I hit the gas again and it starts to chug quite a bit. I stopped for a couple of minutes and made it all the way home with more of the chugging and transmission disengaging....mind you my house was only 2 miles from where it initially messed up....so the Jeep was not happy what so ever. At this point I am thinking great this farely brand new truck is broken, thank god for extended warranties. I am having her towed in (flat bed) tomorrow morning to be diagnosed and fixed. I have a feeling the transmission is tore up, more then likely from the previous owner (bought it used....NEVER AGAIN). This Jeep only has 16k miles on her, so nothing should be wrong like that, but who knows.
So to make my long crapy story nice, I am going to trade the SRT-8 in (once fixed) for a nice shiney Harley Truck.....WOOT!!!
