2009 - 2010 satelite radio

guys,



is the satelite receiver built into the radio or is it a seperate unit on the 2009 - 2010 st's? this is a single cd unit

Seperate..... Mine was and it died and Ford replaced...

we are 4 months out of warranty. do you know if its near the steering column like the super duty? its not behind or near the radio that i could see when i took the radio out.

I believe it's in the right kick panel

Right kick panel is the location. Mine has been replaced twice under warranty. You know it's bad when using sat. mode and the unit is always searching for a signal.
