The door sticker has the build date but doe's that also mean the engine as well ???
I ordered my STA on 02/08 and was Manufactured on March of 2008 so I dout the above is correct.

That seems to make more sense than May 3,2008 ,but does that clear the spark plug problem or should I have the dealer remove those oem plugs and replace them with the Champion plugs I provide ???

Only you can decide, but know that they spec the same plug for your 2008 that they do for my 2007.
