Keypad has power in every button, but suddenly the factory code does not unlock the doors. 7/9 still locks.
Tried finding the troubleshooting link, but when I opened it it didn't work. Any Ideas?
Definately not lemons. I beleive mine is a job one as well, as it has the basic plastic flip cupholder and removable cloth storage bag under the arm rest. I also forgot about the drivers door latch assembly failing when a spring snaped. A few weeks later someone backed into the drivers door...
The post about hitting 100k got me thinking. How many miles do other ST owners have, and any problems?
I'll roll to 162k tomorrow on my 01 4wd ST, and have been fortunate thus far. I've bought it 3 years ago exactly (Feb. 2004) with 50k.
Only problems/repairs/maintenance:
- Oil...
If I can get time this afternoon I'll get a few pictures. Sometime this week for sure. My truck didn't come with a tonneau, so the only factory hardware I am using are the existing 4 round cargo tiedowns on the lower corners of the side walls. I used standard 2" stainless steel hinges for the...
Not sure how much powder coating would cost. Like I said, Line X quoted me $50 bucks to spray it with the same stuff they use on bedliners, and the said it would work very well. Maybe Line X or Rhino do colors other than black now?...
Dan,
Not sure what your intentions are for the tonneau, but for about $200 in materials, you can build a tough tonneau out of aluminum diamondplate. I made mine in 2004 and it is still in perfect shape. It can support as much weight as you can fit on it (i've had 4 people standing on it...
Answered my own question again. Looks like BFG's after all, with perhaps just a little TT. But now..... All Terrain or Mud Terrain..... I suppose AT is more practical. MT just looks so cool!
I think I got it! Any how quickly they changed. They were called Renegade Mud Trac's. I searched that and found this private brand called National, which makes a car tire called a Renegade, as well as a number of truck tires linked below. They have a decent range of sizes for a 15" rim too...
Someone here will know what I am thinking of. A long time back someone asked "what's the most agressive-looking tire I can put on the stock 15" rims with no other modifications to the truck. I remember a brand that someone mentioned they had, one I had never heard of. I am almost certain that...
That is a nice Front-back combo Patrick. Would make a nice pair in my driveway. Imagine if I could get 30 more years out of my ST.... 3 years 100k miles..... 30 more years.... 1 million miles! Now THAT would be a classic.
