Me also Eddie, never got any toys. one yr i got a BB gun, late 50s (never shot anybodys eye out) we used to go on hunting expeditions down in the local creeks killing any birds we could hit.

Most i ever had as a kid was a stick and a rock, and my BB gun.was happy to have those.

Oh and my Shwinn bike I made from bits and pieces.

matchbox cars and matchbox city ( no toyota ones ;) )

glad to see the original gi joe with all the extra's. that was a major favorite. don't take that the wrong way

Creepy Crawlers. It had those metal molds you poured different color liquids into, then "cooked" em with the included heating unit. Luckily, the guy next door was a chemist, so he created "refills" for me whenever I ran out. Circa, 1965. ;)

Easily the best toy ever invented for children with creative minds. LEGOS. In fact I think i'll get my legos out over Christmas break and reminisce some.

Great stuff gang ! Surprised no mention of Slot Cars, yet.

On the other hand. The most obnoxious, noisy, fight provoking toy.

The Marx, (now Mattel), "Rock 'Em Sock 'Em Robots".

Our once peaceful household, was changed forever, that Christmas.

Thanks for the great replies. Shows you guys are "human", after all.
