XCOPY Help

I need to copy all my files from c drive to a backup hard drive. I have a previous copy on "J" drive already, how can I copy everything over but not overwrite any file "except" for newer versions of files. Am I making sense? I use xcopy c: j:\old_c\ /h/i/c/k/e/r/y in the past.

/D:m-d-y Copies files changed on or after the specified date. If no date is given, copies only those files whose source time is newer than the destination time.

I found this program and it does even more than I need. It's free and work real well.
