WTB(already bought): Ignition Coil ('04)

Looking for OEM ignition coil for '04 ST.



My screaming demon one must've shorted and needs replacement, don't have $$$ to replace with SD again, so if anyone has stock coil just laying around I'll take it for a reasonable price (or as a donation! :grin

How long did you have the SD coil installed? Looking into one of these but I'm not sure if it'd be worth the $.

... I'd say about 2 years or so (I'll need to dig through my e-mails to figureout exactly), I bought livewires and SD coil combo like many on this site. Wires are great, no match to the OEM, the coil...i don't know, I mean if you're planning to get custom tunes and push your truck, maybe it does make a difference, but I suppose never really took advantage of that coil, and now its giving me trouble in wet weather... so no, not worth it (DISCLAIMER: these are my .02c)

Wow. Another SD coil pack gone bad. I've have two go bad on me, and another member recently reported problems with one too. Seems like problems with these coils are popping quite often these days.

TT, It has me worried enough to carry my oem, in the trac. Dont want to get stranded.
