Advanced auto here sells them new for around $60 or so each if i remember correctly..

Sorry I meant CV axles for a 4x4. Ford sells them for 1700 total

1700 for a pair of axles is crazy high.



As Todd said, call Auto Zone, Oreillys, Advance Auto, NAPA, Pep Boys... All will be LOTS cheaper. I checked Oreillys and found them for your 2004 at $69.99 or $74.99 depending on brand. Hope the link works.
