Wiper blade length

Am I the only one who thought that the Gen 1's used a longer then 18" wiper blade? I swore it was 20" on one 18" on the other, but now every place tells me 18 and they look too short.

I thought the same thing....I just went 20 and have no issues....other then a wider clean area to see through!

May I recommend Bosch Icon blades. Reference chart at Autozone indicated 18-inchers for my gen1 but later on I noticed (from old wipers arcs still visible on windshield) that these were about an inch shorter than the OEM ones I had on there previously. Still, the Icons are great, they wipe superbly, no chatter, and look sleek. Next time I will probably get 19-inchers.

I use 2 20" blades. Anything longer tend to lift at highway speeds, especially the winter blades.

I use 19" units. Mine was factory with 18" narrow blades.

I think I'm going to take these back and get 19s or 20s. I think the 20s on the drivers side will hit the edge of the windshield, but they're ok on the passenger side.

20 on driver and passenger on my '02. Neither hits the windshield. Just like Kegger stated I get a "wider clean area to see through".
