Valve Spring

Well I according to my mechanic at Ford, a valve spring has broken on my Trac. They are going to replace it tomorrow.



Is this a sign of my Trac starting to give up on me after 140000 miles or am I just one of the unlucky ones?



Also should I have them replace all of them while there in there?

We have heard of this before, BUT most of the time the motor drops the valve and the motor is trash.....



I have replaced just 1 before on a stock daily driven motor.......



I personally ( IF my truck) would do all of them on the 1 side and the plugs while i was in there...

By plugs, do you mean spark plugs. If so I had them replaced at 100k.
