Torsion twist fail

Hey everyone, first time posting. Just got my Trac about a month ago. Traded my 02 WRX for it! Anyway, I'm an auto tech by trade, yesterday in the shop I found a set of used 265/70/16 that I wanted to try out. Decided I'd twist the torsion bars up just a bit to level it out too, just an inch since I haven't gotten my add - a - leaf yet. I took my measurements and started cranking down. In the end the left hand side is in all the way and I had to turn the right side back out because I wasn't getting any adjustment! This is my first endeavor with torsion bar suspension so I'm not sure if something is just worn out or not. Sorry for the long post and thanks for any advice!

Common issue as the torsion bars age.



2 options, Install Keys for lift, New bars or Longer bolts.



We sell the longer bolts just for this reason.
