Looked at the Moog problemsolver in a post from yesterday morning ... they say that their bushings are made frome "thermoplastic rubber" ... the ones from Energy Suspension are "firm durometer polyurethane" ...

Whats the difference ?? Is thermoplastic rubber the same as or similar to polyurethane ? And which will last longer & be more effective ? From what I have seen from Autozone, they are similar in price ...

Nope, The thermoplastic rubber is just a slightly stronger rubber... No where as strong or durable as Polly....

Thermo(form)plastic = melts when heated.

Thermoset = does not melt when heated. Formed by chemical reaction (polyurethane is polyol + isocyanate)
