st trim

i would like to know if anyone knows where i may be able to purchase black trim for my st? i was going to paint it black but wondered if they might be able to be purchased also?

Nope, Unless you go to a junk yard....



Even the OEM cladding for the 04 and up comes primered and needs paint..

i saw a picture of a white st with black trim on the post. do you think it was painted or did they come like that in later years?

I painted all mine black. So far it's still black. Rough up the chrome, prime, and paint. Just painted the areas without a lots of contact.

there is no chrome on mine, it is just plastic. but you (redfish) say i can do this? i wonder how long it will last?

Sorry, my bad. I thought you were talking about inside chrome trim.

Well There were 04 and 05's that had a dark Grey cladding, Maybe you saw that ???



That you can get from ford, BUT it is not painted, it is still the textured plastic..
