I think next weeks episode will be the last..........

Just a thought...

Yes, only one more episode.

JohnnyO's predictions:

1. The FBI goes to Tony and puts him and his family in protective custody because of the Arabs he turned in. Tony hardly has any crew left anyway.

2. A.J. shoots and kills Tony.

The show has always been about family...the question is which one wins out, mob family or Tony's family. Tony could get flipped an informant against the NYC family, and he and his family put in protective custody with new identities. Too much of a Goodfellas ending, I know (based on a true story).

Tony gets wacked and everyone think Phil Leotardo will rule the mob...that is until the FBI picks him up (for whatever reason) leaving questions as to who is left from the NY and NJ mob and who is running things. Don't you think someone could spin a movie off of that outcome? From what I heard Chase doesn't want to glorify these characters. All will end badly but with a small window of opportunity for something else.

Best scene last night was Bobby in the train store.

Tough call now that Chris, Sil, and Bobby are gone... All that remain are the muscles... Tony, Paulie, & handful of others. I am torn between wanting Tony to make it and also understanding that if he didn't it would be better ending for the show. But I think in the end Tony and the crew don't survive the war but Phil dies and New York takes a giant hit for their actions. But I think the ending will be something epic!

Tony and Phil meet face to face to resolve things. They shoot each other at the same time. We don't know who lives and who dies.

Pnoid, I will tell you right now IF Chase does anything like that I will cancel my HBO subscription.

I've already considered that they could make all of season 6 a dream, flashing back to Tony dying from the gunshots of Uncle Junior, with the whole last season just a near-death dream sequence. They could pick right up with the "Summer Lodge" sequence from last season where Tony say his cousin Tony Blundetto as the concierge (sp?) and what appeared to be a younger version of his mother inside the lodge....

I hope they don't do crap like that.

I think Chase is too creative to do the whole "season was a dream bit". This isn't Lost...it's Sopranos. I'm telling myself that Tony is going to die. That way if he makes it, I'll be very surprised and happy. However, his death is a sure fire way to make for a dramatic series ending and leave no doubt that the show is over.

They're all going to end up in jail, for one year. In the final scene, Jer--er, I mean, Tony--will be bombing doing stand-up comedy for the rest of the inmates.

The final scene of the show was filmed at an ice cream shop up the road from me....

My predictions, this is like the devil's advocate, It was a "what would happen" scenario, the entire show...

I read an article once that said the writer said he would never have Tony die or end up in prison so who knows?

Sil is in the hospital, not dead.

Tony lives...this keeps the door open for a movie.

Paulie lives - need the comedy in the movie.

AJ is finally going to go off and want to be in the mob as he is sick of all the other crap that goes on in the world. AJ kills Phil to prove to Tony he is worthy and to avenge "Uncle" Bobby's death.

Arabs - we hear nothing else about them - just another loose end.

OR

Jr - Escapes when they go to move him from home to home, he really is not losing it in the head and he takes over when Tony is shot. They close with him singing.

I would die if that was the ending! lol

My guess is Phil & Tony both get whacked.

I wish it wouldn't end, but I can understand the actor's viewpoint.

I'm hoping Sil recovers and makes a comeback with Springsteen...:D

Considering I have not watched a single episode, nor care to, I say the show will end with everyone dying. How? I don't know.
