I have an 04 ST 4x4 that has developed a stutter/skip. This only seems noticeable when it snows, it is intermintant anywhere's frew 20-30 seconds to a few minutes. I was in need of a tune up when it started and figured this was the problem, but I have since done a tune up and am still seeing this (maybe not as noticable). It did spit out a code the other day and the code was a miss-fire code, but didn't say which cylinder. Any idea as to how I could trouble shoot this any further?

I realize it does look like a coil or part of the ignition problem, I am just wondering if there is any quick/easy way to check this without costing a fortune in trouble shooting.

Thanks guys!

Loose plug wire or broken plug...

I would suspect this if it wasn't doing the same before the tune up, but the problem started before I did the tune up. I'm goign to keep digging in this for now.

Thanks for the input!
