Should I do more underhood blue?

Yes put mirrors under the hood, so you can see the reflection of the compartment. This way, you will get to look at it twice as much!:lol: Seriously, it looks really nice! :)

Looks good so far, Andy. How 'bout powdercoating the intake tube blue? And change the positive battery cable to blue. Red is seriously clashing with everything else!;)

There's a Gen 2 V8 ST car domain with a plenum cover. It looks pretty good. Would look pretty good on yours painted to match the body color.

Yeah, but I don't like how his is cut all to hell. I'm going to have to do some work on mine. I've had it here for a year with the fuel rail covers. If all goes well, it'll look like this, but without the GT, and in blue:

Personally, I think the Grabber Orange covers would look good on your Trac. But I guess that's 'cause I'm a Fighting Illini fan, and also happen to work at the very same University of Illinois, and our colors are orange and blue!:D

I'm debating spending the $$$ to buy a V6 plenum cover and adapting it to fit my Trac. At a car show this summer, I parked my Trac next to a '08 V6 Mustang, popped the hoods, and compared the intake plenum similarities and differences for about 30 minutes. The only major difference I could find was the angled front end at the throttle body on the Trac plenum. If I can overcome that, I believe it'll fit. I guess I just have to bite the bullet and get one and find out.

I've never had a vehicle with an exposed plenum. Is there a reason Ford left it off?

I've not been able to find a cover for my '02. I think it would make the engine compartment look so much cleaner.

I LOVE the look of the yellow one above. So neat and clean!

But Dingo, I see a lot of things that could be changed to blue.

Duplicolor makes some great paint products that would hold up to the temp extremes under the hood. Start painting!

Dingo, Coupler is MIA....

Sorry,

Sounds like Ebay for you if you want it...

Dingo, you need to add more blue on the west coast and New England, and more red in the South and in the Rockies...

Hey Andy,

I just came across this billet Optima battery tray that can be powder-coated. Whatcha think of the blue one?

Too bad, 'cause the blue one looks pretty close to your Trac's blue.

Just tryin' to help you stand apart from the "average Trac"!;):p

Edit: Why won't it fit? The basic dimensions are the same on all Optima batteries, aren't they? The post openings on the top of this tray look large enough to accomodate the blue battery's dual top posts...
