Has anyone installed Bilstein Monotube Shock Absorbers 4600 Series.



and what were your thoughts on how the ride was

i have Bilsteins in my truck..not sure of the series tho. when i put them in about 3 years ago they were very stiff. coming from shot factory shocks the ride was a big difference. i have been looking at replacing my shocks with a softer ride shock.

Just had KYB Monomax installed in front and rear, LOVE THEM, feels like a whole new ride. OEM's were on for a little over 156K.

Second 01Gold's comment on the KYBs. I put a set on my 02 Gen1 a few years back, and they're still giving great service at 120K. Only experience with Bilsteins is on BMWs I've owned; they are outstanding.

I run Bilstein 5100 in my STA - Firm/Flat and responsive unlike the factory stuff or reflex - part of that is the adjustable coilover set up but all and all - great for the $$$
