I know this is a Sport Trac site, but was hoping someone might have a suggestion or two.

My mom is a rural postal carrier in Texas. She drives about 100 miles a day, on pavement & dirt roads, taking mail to all the farmers & ranchers that live out in the sticks. In good weather, she uses a little Elantra to get around in. Today, she was telling me how fast she wears through tires (20k miles or so) & that now she thinks the shocks are going south now.

What kind of shocks might be a good replacement for the OEMs she has now, especially considering how much time she spends on rough roads? Thanks.

I imagine the elantra has struts. I think the KYB gr2. Would be good for her service. The gr2 is designed to tighten up worn suspensions. Also to give a good ride on smooth surface.
