I have a noise in the driver side front tire area. It sounds like old box springs or something like rubber and metal rubbing together. i used to only notice it when I would go over a bump, but now I have it when I even sit in the truck or turn the steering wheel. Any ideas?

Shock mounts, control arm bushings, body mounts, etc.

Spray areas of these one at a time. With silcone lube. Not WD-40 or any type of penatrating oil.

Anything other than silicone will cause rubber deteriation.

Get down underneath and look for the body mount right below your foot board. If it looks like the one in the picture below, it is probably the culprit and needs to be changed. Also, it is likely if you have one bad, then all the center 4 are bad (upper and lower) and need to be replaced.

Some people can do this on their own but it can be a huge pain in the butt. Mine almost killed me. lol.
