rod for lowering the spare tire

I have lost the rod that is used to lower the spare tire on my Sport Trac. Wondering if anyone has a spare that they would like to part with OR any idea where I can get a replacement. Not sure what the part is called but its about 18 to 20 inches long and has a hex head on one end and a square eid on the other. Any help will be appreciated

I went to that web page and put in jack assembly to find that rod. Good luck with your search, Ford pick ups may have one similar if you dont find one for your S T :driving:

My 97 Ranger had a super long one under the hood in front of the radiator if you come accross a Ranger, Im sure a wrecking yard would let you try one out if you find one. :supercool:

Junk yard, Almost any ford will work.
