Removing center console gen 1?

I have the short bag console and I would like to take it out to do some work on it. I know how to take the arm rest off. How do you remove the base from the floor? I am going to make something to fill the gap between the arm rest and the base, when the arm rest is down. I have glued it 3 times and this is my second full hinge unit replacement. When I figure it out, I will do a project write up.

you gotta pull up one the cup holder section. Under there I believe is 4 screws. Its been a long time since I took mine out. I have no special technigue to pull up on the cup holder without breaking it. I just pulled out and up and it eventually came out without breaking. Good Luck
