Remote Mirrors Failure

I don't know if this is cold weather related or not. Last year after a snow strip my remote mirrors failed. After a week they came back to life.



This year, same thing. After a trip to the snow the remotes failed. After two weeks I replaced the switch, no improvement. I checked the fuse, it looks fine.



Any idea where I should look next?

Found it, that wire junction in that cylindrical thing near the hinge area of the driver's side door. Broken wire.

Glad to hear you figured it out; I'll keep this in mind for this weekend as mine is acting up also

Did this cause both mirrors to stop working or just one side? Both of mine stopped working and I have not had the time to look into it yet. I am hoping it is just a fuse.
