Red tail light bulbs???

Okay so i bought some smoked clear tail lights off of ebay. They will require some red colored bulbs i assume. So i was looking into some LED type that are red but ive heard of problems of them not working as turn signal bulbs. The sport trac has a two stage bulb or whatever in the taillamp right? So anyone know what i can do???

almost all the tail lights off ebay come with the red lens for the brake and turn, you should not need new bulbs..

Tony ... I have these in my Trac (they are LED's) ... red in rear & yellow/amber in front (have clear front coners) ... work great & look great in the front clears (they are clear when off & light up in color when on) ...

Math you: did you have to put in some other flasher or load resistor or anything for the bulbs to work as turnsignals???

Yes, I did ... it's been awhile, but found the info on here ... bought it at a local parts shop (Autozone I believe). Wasn't expensive as I recall .... definitely worth the money as far as i'm concerned .... if you dont find the info on the flasher, send me an e-mail & i'll go yank it to get the info for you.
